ABOUT CIVIL

      Civil Engineering department was established in the year 2012 and is manned by qualified faculty members. The infrastructure facilities in the department facilitate effective teaching-learning process. Sophisticated instruments are available in laboratories such as, Total Station, GPS etc. Students are being exposed to latest development in construction technology and trained to overcome the practical difficulties. They are given hands-on training in AutoCAD and STAAD.pro Microsoft Project software related to Civil Engineering. The department is frequently arranging Guest lectures in emerging topics of Civil Engineering by Inviting experts from Engineering colleges, Govt. departments and practicing Engineers. The industrial visits are being arranged relevant to the subjects concerned. In plant training to all students in PWD and Private Construction Companies are being arranged during their vacations. In addition to academic works, the repairs and maintenance of all the buildings are being carried out by the Civil Engineering Department staff members.
